Dramatic (and frankly scary) thunderclap recorded summer 2018 in uppsala, sweden using a zoom h4n.

Recorded from my window. Thunder, storm and rain.

A storm recorded with the window open - hailstones hitting the window. Lots of rain and water noises, loud thunder and a couple of firetrucks which are speeding of with sirens. The firestation is right next to my appartement.

The recording was made from a small kitchen measuring 3mx2. 5m during a heavy downpour outside the window with thunderclaps. Gradually the rain gets quieter. Recorded with rode tng-2 microphone and zoom h6 recorder.

Recorded in stockholm a rainy summer day. Standing on the 6th floor recording from the balcony. The storm starts close and moves away from the mic. I picked up some cars in the clip, and the neighbours shouts at 09:10. Recorded with a zoom h6 in stereo.

This stereo recording was made on november 23, 2014 in grays harbor washington during a rare thunderstorm. The clip contains rain falling on a wooden deck and recurring peals of thunder both near and far. This original recording was made using a zoom h-6 handy recorder with zoom stereo xy microphone. The track was edited in audacity 2. 0. 6 to remove a few artifacts. Total run time for this wav file is: 8:29. This is my first upload. I am hearing impaired and new to field audio recording. I am fascinated by this art form and hearing sounds that i haven’t been able to hear in twenty years. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on the quality of my work and, if you choose to use this in a project, the end use you have in mind.

We were having a small rainstorm, so i thought i'd go out and record the rain. As you can see, (or hear!), i got much more than that! this is the complete original audio, all unedited. It sounds as if the lightning struck at least three times! enjoy! (i know i do!).

On 8th of june 2013 thunderstorms developed above pécel, small town in hungary in the afternoon. The greatest part is recorded by my sony stereo dictaphone. Unfortunately some of my neighbours were talking too and can be heard in the recording.

The tail end of a rumble of thunder. I chopped off everything above 1. 5khz or so, since is was all background noise. Recorded with a tascam dr-07 mk. Ii microphone and a røde dead kitten windscreen.

The sound of rain falling interspersed with rumbles of thunder at varying volumes. A lovely, rich recording. The audio is raw, so you'll need to amplify it to suit your needs. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder and a faux-fur wind guard due to occasional breezes. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. This is a field recording, done using a zoom h6 with attached stereo mic. The limiter (general type) was activated on the channel. This is the raw recording without any eq or dynamics added. A quick normalization gave a nice, rich signal that you might be able to use for any purpose. Apply a low pass filter to cut out the rain. Well, enjoy. :). More of this will be uploaded.
